Mark A. Serwinowski
Mr. Serwinowski has practiced in the environmental business for 17 years. He has held management and equity positions at leading service providers in the remedial construction, engineering and scientific consulting and management consulting industries. He has successfully developed and launched two consulting practices in business advisory for environmental management and risk. In addition, he holds an advisory board position in a Brownfields real estate redevelopment firm.
Mark has successfully collaborated with companies in the automotive, chemical, paper, energy, oil and gas, mining and utility sectors realize the economic benefits of managing environmental issues from a business perspective. In addition, he provides subject matter and domain expertise to help environmental consultants, law firms, real estate and insurance firms deliver successful projects to their clients.
Prior to building metavû, Mark was Vice President at BBL, Inc., (successor Arcadis-BBL), where he founded their environmental business management practice. Prior to his recruitment to BBL, Mr. Serwinowski managed remedial construction project development for OHM Remediation Services (successor The Shaw Group). Earlier in his career, Mark managed analytical laboratory services for the industrial and government sectors.
Mr. Serwinowski holds a bachelors of Interdisciplinary Sciences from the State University of New York at Buffalo in Urban Planning and Environmental Studies and currently participates in the executive program at the University of Denver's Institute for Leadership and Organizational Performance. He personally facilitates industry workshops on environmental performance leadership, including a recent event on metrics in the oil and gas sector, and has been published on various topics related to business and environmental performance.
